Aptitudio has a “Zero Rejection Policy” for all abilities, especially in special needs music programs.
Aptitudio pioneers the teaching of music lessons for special needs in Malaysia. We have a wide range of special needs students under our care diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and others.
With our Zero Rejection policy, we accept any age with any abilities. We currently have students aged from 3 to 28 years old.
Each student must attend a trial class to assess his or her strengths and weaknesses so we can customise and individualise his or her program. Since every student is unique, they will learn and progress at their own pace, happily and confidently.
We customise each program to suit by using their favourite songs, toys and cartoon characters. We focus on cultivating their musical interest rather than purely drilling them to learn it the hard way. Hence the use of game-based and play-based approaches in all our teaching methodology and materials.
As they progress and gain confidence, we will start introducing typical musical notation, technique and materials.
